Driving Directions and Parking
The Areis Building is on the southeast corner of Eastlake Ave. E. and E. Louisa St. Parking is available on the street only on weekdays until 6:00PM. After 6:00PM, and during the weekend, parking is available either beneath the building or in the lot behind the building.
Avoid the no parking zone on weekdays from 4-6PM going north on Eastlake Ave. E. If you know your session is likely to last for more than 2 hours, then drive up the hill to Franklin Ave. E. It is one block east of the Areis Building and has four-hour parking.
From I-5 North
Take the Lakeview Blvd. Exit from I-5 North. It is one of the first exits after driving through downtown Seattle under the Convention Center. The exit is on the right hand side of the freeway and is before the entrance to Highway 520.
At the end of the exit ramp turn left onto Lakeview Blvd. Go about 1/4 mile to the first traffic light at E. Lynn St. Turn left onto E. Lynn St. and go down the hill. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Eastlake Ave. E. and go one block. The building is at the end of this block on the right.
From I-5 South
From I-5 South take the Roanoke St. Exit. It is after the University exits on the right hand side of the freeway, just past Ship Canal.
At the end of the exit ramp move into the right hand lane for the first traffic light. Go straight through this first light and go one block. The first side street is E. Louisa St. Turn right onto E. Louisa St. and go down the cobblestone hill. The building is on the left at the corner as you approach Eastlake Ave. E.
From Highway 520
Drive west on HWY-520 toward Seattle. After crossing Lake Union, at the end of the HWY-520 bridge, stay in the right hand lane. Take the Roanoke St. Exit. This exit is located on the far right hand side as you go toward the I-5 North to Vancouver Exit. It turns into the Harvard St. Exit.
At the end of the exit ramp, make a left turn at the traffic light onto Roanoke St. Go one block and turn left at the first traffic light onto Boylston Avenue East. Go one block and take the first right onto E. Louisa St. The building is on the left at the corner as you approach Eastlake Ave E.
